Questions

When do I get paid?

After your client has paid their third monthly invoice, or paid a project in full. You invoice us and we pay by bank transfer within 14 days.

What if they cancel early?

No fee is due unless the client reaches three paid months. Once it's paid, it's yours.

Can I refer my own business or employer?

No. You can't be a director, owner or employee of the business you introduce.

Do I need to sign anything?

No. The partner terms below apply when we confirm your referral.

What if someone else referred them first?

The first referral we register counts. Referrals stay valid for six months.

Who can refer. Anyone, except a director, owner, employee or close relative of someone at the business introduced, or an Altrensa employee or contractor.
How. Email hello@altrensa.co.uk with the business name and contact, with their permission. We confirm in writing within two working days whether the referral is accepted.
What counts. The business must be new to Altrensa and not in contact with us in the previous six months. The first partner we register wins. A registered referral stays valid for six months.
Fees. £300 per full-time remote professional, £200 per part-time remote professional, £300 for an advisory membership, and 10% of a hands-on project fee (excluding VAT), up to £1,000 per project. Further services taken within 12 months of the referral earn the same fees.
When paid. Once the client has paid three monthly invoices for that service, or paid a project in full, you invoice us (plus VAT if you are registered) and we pay within 14 days. No fee is due on amounts the client does not pay or that are refunded.
Openness. We tell the client a referral fee is paid. If your professional rules require you to disclose it too, that is your responsibility.
No authority. You are independent and cannot make promises for Altrensa on price, people or terms. There is no exclusivity on either side.
Data and tax. Each side handles shared personal data under UK GDPR, only for the introduction. You are responsible for tax on your fees.
Changes. We may change or end these terms with 30 days' notice. Referrals registered before a change keep the terms that applied when registered.
Law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
